The Student-Council Experience:
The school’s Student Council mainly comprises of student from the A Level program.
Chosen each year through a keenly contested election, the Council bridges the gap between the general student body and the administration. The process trains students to develop their leadership, administrative and management skills.
Clubs, Societies and External Competitions:
The school’s co curricular activities are aimed at helping students to develop a
creative edge. These include (but are not limited to) debates, art fests, theater and music performances, swimming galas and cultural festivals; most of which are managed by student-council members. Occasionally professional directors are also hired to develop theatrical performances.
Sports is another area in which our students have won laurels. Some of the top swimmers who have won medals in interschool competitions have been from our school. our extra-curricular societies
Our school prides itself on its debating team which has won national and international recognition.
The LGS Team won 8 out of 11awards at Harvard Model United Nations in China In 2014.
